Marilyn Louise Devlin

​​Marilyn Louise (Sirgey) Devlin of Wilson, NY on May 30, 2018 in Buffalo General after a sudden illness with her family at her side, born May 10, 1963 in Niagara Falls she was a daughter of the late Paul Charles and Joyce Marie (Barber) Sirgey. A 1981 graduate of LaSalle High School she met and married John D. Devlin July 9, 1983. Marilyn is the current Vice President of the Wilson Volunteer Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxilary and was very dedicated to the fire company. She enjoyed sewing, reading, taking care of the grandchildren or anyone for that matter .Predeceasing is one son Brian Rolfe Surviving besides her husband is, Peggy (John) Lucas, Connie (Jesse) Craig, Patty Devlin, grandchildren Ryan, Luke, Hunter, Ellie, and William. Siblings Derek (Sherry) Sirgey, Judy (Bob) Deeter, Carol (Don) Degona, and Nancy Sirgey Brother-in-Laws Larry Devlin, Paul (Dawn) Devlin, Richard Devlin, and Billy Devlin, Sister-in-Laws Rose (Klaus) Froehlich, Patricia (David) Snyder also many nieces and nephews and friends. Eugene C. Mayer, age 96, died August 9, 2018. He’s survived by his children Carol (Braden) Wallace; Gary (Kelly) and John (Holly) Mayer; Also eight grandchildren. Predeceasing is his wife Clare (Skillman) Mayer, whom he married in 1951, and a son George who died in 1972. Mr. Mayer was born in Oswego, NY to Frank A. and Marcella (Campbell) Mayer. He graduated with a graduate teaching degree from Oswego State University of NY in 1952 and moved to Lockport to teach industrial arts at Lockport High School. In addition to teaching he maintained a local locksmith business and was an active member of the area’s HAM radio club. A private ceremony is planned with family and a celebration of life open to the many friends he had in the Lockport area is planned for next month. See

Carol Ann (Patterson) Barger passed away August 10, 2018 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born August 2, 1951 in Lockport she is a daughter of the late Earl and Hellen (Boots) Patterson. Carol attended local Catholic Schools and worked for 18 years for the Salvation Army in the Thrift Store. She is married to Michael Barger for 36 years and is the mother of 8 children. Judy Creasey, Mary Turk, Bonnie Kempton, Danny, Eugene, Andrew, Amanda, Earl Barger. Carol enjoyed bingo and being with her 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 7-9 in the Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel where Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10 A.M.

Barbara Kay (Bull) Branch, entered into rest on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 29, 1944 in Biloxi, MS, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. and Melva E, (Carrigan) Bull.

Barbara resided for most of her life in Wilson and Ransomville NY. She attended local schools, graduating from Wilson Central High School in 1962. On July 13, 1984 she married the late Bruce A Branch, in the beautiful Wintergardens of Niagara Falls.

Working for many years at General Motors, Barb retired, spending time doing the things she enjoyed, quilting, traveling, card & yahtzee parties with her dear friends, caring for her family, and giving so much of her time in support of the South Wilson Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary, of which she was an active member.

Barb is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Gregg) Maacks, Kelli (Robert) Alaimo, Traci (Travis) Taylor, Candi (Randy) Curry, Kristi (John) Confer, her sister, Diane Bull, her brother, Bruce (Irene) Bull Sr, her grandchildren, Jacob Maacks, Jason (Anna) Maacks, Gage Maacks, Griffin Maacks, Krystalore (Russ) Crews, Earl Stegner, Jillian (Nick) Brown, Lee (Stephanie) Hilliard, Samantha (Jay) McKee, Michael (Joelle) Taylor, Jessica Curry, Jamie Curry, Cole (TJ) Snell, her nephew, Bruce (Joanna) Bull Jr, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce Branch, her parents, Edward & Melva Bull, and her dear nephew, Scott Bull.

Family and friends may call at the HAMILTON AND CLARK FUNERAL HOME, 270 Young St, Wilson NY on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at HAMILTON AND CLARK on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

.Norbert Joseph Kunzweiler ( Sonny) passed away in his sleep on August 24, 2018. He was born On September 9, 1945 in Lansford, PA. The only son of the late Norbert Joseph and Ellen Alice (Mc Laughlin). Sonny went to high school in Nesquehoning  PA.  Sonny was a retired employee of 31 years of Harrison Radiator General Motors in Lockport NY. Sonny served in the military during the Vietnam War Era. He was a proud member of the American Legion post 1451 in Wheatfield NY. Sonny was also an exempt member of the Wilson Conservation Club in Wilson and a proud member of the NRA and a past member of the Niagara County Motorcycle club. He was also an avid Fisherman and Hunter. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years June Ann (Stanton) Kunzweiler they met in 1964 and were married on December 18, 1965. He is also survived by his only daughter Tammyann Kunzweiler of Fort Wayne, IN.  His Grandchildren Erik Joseph Blake Hartung, James Ryan Tyler Kunzweiler,  Noah Riley John Kunzweiler and Great Granddaughter Adalyn Aria Kunzweiler  of Fort Wayne, IN.  Also Melissa Charles and Cassondra Hartung, and seven great grandchildren of West Virginia  His sisters Patricia (late Robert) Black; Elizabeth (William) Dimmick; Rosemary (late William) Lower; Theresa Toth; Cecelia (late John) Yanick; Ellen (late Lamont). Also by many Nieces and Nephews.  Services will be held Saturday September 15, 2018 at 4 PM  in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home 270 Young Street
